Tara, thank you so much for that answer.  I really want to wear my black leather Harley boots, but the friend I am going with thinks that'll look, um, "Butchy" (no offense intended to anyone).  Now I can say I was advised to wear them.  I realize it IS mid-July and North Carolina, but I am wearing blue jeans anyway (no skimpy stuff here, folks) so who is going to be scrutinizing my choice of footwear?  Oh, I am so excited.  I hope all of Scott's sweat makes its way to me.  I will take whatever I am wearing and try to soak up every pheromone that he will let go of and I may never wash that garment again.  <swoon>

Trust me, there won't be a shortage of Stapp sweat... plenty to go around for all 15,000 people if he wanted to distribute it. Uck. I was on the rail at the Auburn Hills show in 99 and the Grand Rapids show this past February, and GEEZ does that guy sweat.
I was stage right for the 99 show, and made eye contact with Stapp a couple times from there. And for the GR show, I was stage left, near the end of the catwalk, and he spent a lot of time out there. (There wasn't a catwalk at the 99 show, at least not that I remember). The other band members didn't spend much time on it, though... but Hugo (the lead singer of Tantric) jumped off the end of it right into the crowd.
They wouldn't let anyone touch Stapp - a girl behind me kept trying to give him a rose, and the security guard kept motioning for her to back off, and Stapp just ignored her, wouldn't even look in her direction. So good luck on that. Other advice - if you wear glasses normally, don't for the show. Definitely wear close-toed shoes - preferably steel toed. A construction helmet probably wouldn't be a bad idea either. If you're short, bring your own oxygen tank so you can get some air every now and then. Be aware that you very well may have a bruised stomach/ribcage/wherever the rail happens to be at on you for a few days following the show. If you're light sensitive, shield your eyes during the chorus to What If.
Anything I'm forgetting, Scott?
